5) Who requires me to post Labor Law Compliance Materials?

Posting labor law posters is a requirement of the US Department of Labor.


6) When are labor law posters required?

7) Why do I need to be compliant NOW?

Many businesses have been operating without the proper compliance materials for years. So why stay compliant now? As the economy has changed, so has the focus on small businesses. Governmental agencies now are looking towards private companies to help pay down the economies deficit. Not only are they inspecting businesses to ensure compliance, but they are issuing fines along with compliance orders. Several hundred dollars now can save thousands of dollars later AND prevent major legal problems.

8) Is the All-in-One State and Federal poster all I need?

No. Depending on the state and industry you are in, you are required to post other safety, health, and wage orders. In addition, you may be required to have some type of policy or program implemented for your employees. Please check with your local Labor Board for more information on what is required.


9) Many of my employees are of Hispanic origin, what else do I need?

If you have more than 2 employees of hispanic origin and they don't speak english, law requires you to post the same compliance materials in Spanish along with the English. This signifies a commitment to ALL of your employees.

10) Can I buy my Labor Law Compliance Materials elsewhere?

Posters may also be available from individual issuing agencies; however, they do not have the same characteristics as California Regulatory Commission posters and other agencies do not offer the same compliance services, prices, and guarantees.

However, we do suggest the following:

- Do Not buy your compliance materials from mailers that have been sent to your company. Most often these are type of offers are scams.

- Buy from a Compliance Specialist who is willing to take time to explain to you what is required, why it's required, and is willing to meet you face-to-face. The major benefit is they will also service your account by keeping you updated on changes and provide the best solutions. Many times they will also provide additional FREE material for your company.

- Be Careful to buy online from companies who are not within your govern state. You may be buying a product that is out-dated and not current.

11) Are we a government agency?

California Regulatory Commission is a non-governmental technical publisher.

12) If I have multiple locations, should I request a corporate discount?

Yes. California Regulatory Commission offers corporate discount to those businesses with multiple locations. Please ask your representative if you qualify and we'll work with you in putting together a package price for all your locations and will assist you in making sure each store is in full compliance.
